Jeti is a social network, which shows posts from people nearby to see whats up-and-coming around or check out whats trending now.

Problem

Despite global digital connectivity, a lot of people feel disconnected from their local communities, missing out on nearby happenings and discussions.

Solution

Jeti bridges this gap by focusing on local content and interactions, allowing users to connect with their immediate surroundings, whether openly or anonymously. Jeti is more than a Social Media, it's a local community hub.

Goals

The social network is a tool that is usually use is something that is usually used by the a huge amount of people that differ in many ways – from technical skills to cultural features. That's why we aimed to create a design that would be clear and familiar like other social media, but with some kind of uniqueness as well, to stand out from other platforms.

Features

Jeti allows users to stay up to date with all the happenings nearby. Everyone can become famous by creating polls, conducting live broadcasts and creating stories of the city, and, of course, publishing what is interesting and important for people who live in the same area. Actually, if the user wants to do almost all of the above, but stays like Banksy at the same time, Jeti has an anonymous mode.

Clean Look

White and blue colors are dominant in the app visual style - thanks to this it is perceived as simple and clear and not overloaded. That clean look is highlighted by the crafted icons set and some unique illustrations.

Dark Mode

In Dark Mode, the system uses a darker color palette for all screens, views, menus, and controls, and it uses more vibrancy to make foreground content stand out against the darker backgrounds.

Summary

We designed Jeti's user interface to foster a strong sense of local community by showcasing nearby posts and trends, effectively reconnecting users with their local environment. This social network serves as a digital hub for local interactions and community engagement.
